And I think some of the response lies with the tone of my voice. I think that's also how they know their names. Since they all start with B's (except Oscar)I say each of their names differently and they know who I am talking to. Dogs may seem to have a better grasp on human language, but they also like to please their owners. Cats on the other hand like to please themselves most of the time :) <BR/>PS Did you know that cats are now being clicker trained, like dogs and other animals? The mom was in the other room and the baby started choking and the parrot started saying "Mama, baby, mama, baby." She would declare "go potty" do her business and then want to come out to play. I also know that when I was having a bad day my feathery friend would sense it and be extra sweet and cuddle and talk to me.Beth @ TheAngelForeverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11656102800736469480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6107408736049923508.post-22542161249446924652009-03-27T05:39:00.000-07:002009-03-27T05:39:00.000-07:00we talk to our animals and believe they do underst...we talk to our animals and believe they do understand at times.annies homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14583996787641143024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6107408736049923508.post-18025442806832995152009-03-27T04:28:00.000-07:002009-03-27T04:28:00.000-07:00Oh yes, my cats know exactly how to communicate wi...Oh yes, my cats know exactly how to communicate with me, especially when they are hungry or want to go outside.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6107408736049923508.post-86215151313447837342009-03-27T01:24:00.000-07:002009-03-27T01:24:00.000-07:00Oh, I think it's totally possible. That doggy could read my emotions and seemed like he pretty much understood what I was whining about most of the time. I miss that little man. But, I think we definitely communicated.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03651152524448168307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6107408736049923508.post-4669606134176129102009-03-27T00:02:00.000-07:002009-03-27T00:02:00.000-07:00I think it's possible.
